Our Lava Lodge Retreat
For families and small groups of up to 12 guests, our private Lava Lodge offers a unique base for tailored adventures in the heart of Iceland’s wild interior. Surrounded by lava fields, birchwood, and mountain views, it’s a place to disconnect, explore, and recharge. Each stay is custom designed to balance activity and relaxation, based on your group’s interests. The area is rich with scenic hiking trails and breathtaking viewpoints, making it ideal for those seeking both adventure and serenity.

Þórsmörk
Beneath the mighty Eyjafjallajökull volcano lies Þórsmörk, a valley named after the Norse god of thunder, Thor or Þór. With its dramatic mountains, glacial rivers, and lush greenery, it’s one of Iceland’s most cherished natural wonders and a favorite among hikers from around the world. Reaching Þórsmörk is an adventure in itself. Aboard a luxury Superjeep, we cross glacial rivers and ash covered terrain, navigating rugged lava fields in comfort and style. Amid the raw power of the landscape, you’ll also discover its softer side, hidden oases, delicate flora, and serene views tucked between the extremes.

The South Coast
Iceland’s south coast is a showcase of the island’s raw and breathtaking beauty. Visit two of its most iconic waterfalls, Skógafoss and Seljalandsfoss, where thundering water meets lush cliffs and secret paths. Walk along dramatic black sand beaches, where basalt columns rise from the shore, offering shelter to seabirds and a glimpse into Iceland’s volcanic soul. At Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, watch massive icebergs drift through crystal clear, 300 meter deep waters, freshly calved from Europe’s largest glacier. In winter, you may even have the chance to explore natural ice caves, fleeting, otherworldly structures sculpted by glacial movement.

The Golden Circle
The Golden Circle is a classic Icelandic route, one every Icelander experiences at least once in their life. It weaves together some of the nation’s most powerful natural and historical landmarks. Stand at Þingvellir, the site of the ancient Viking parliament and the symbolic heart of the nation, where the tectonic plates of Europe and North America slowly pull Iceland apart. Witness the explosive force of Strokkur, one of the world’s most active geysers. And feel the mist of Gullfoss, Iceland’s most beloved waterfall, as it thunders into the canyon below.

Snæfellsnes Peninsula
According to Jules Verne, the gateway to the center of the Earth lies within Snæfellsjökull Glacier, and standing before it, you’ll understand why. The Snæfellsnes Peninsula is a favorite among locals, with its dramatic mix of mountains, ocean, and mystical energy. The surrounding national park is rich with natural wonders, from surreal lava formations to volcanic pebble beaches said to radiate energy from the glacier above. Find your “power pebble” there, your own small connection to this extraordinary land.

Geothermal Wonderland of Landmannalaugar
Set in the shadow of volcano Hekla, Landmannalaugar has welcomed travelers for over a thousand years. Once a resting place for Viking explorers crossing Iceland’s rugged interior, it's now a breathtaking destination known for its colorful rhyolite mountains, steaming hot springs, and dramatic lava fields. Accessible only from June to September, this highland gem is well worth the journey. Even in mid-summer, snow still clings to the peaks, reminding you just how wild and untouched this landscape truly is.
