The tour consists of: 2 full days of local guidance in a comfortable coach, in that time we have managed to combine the best of Iceland! Day one: the famous Golden Circle drive: waterfalls, spouting geysers, volcanic crater, geothermal greenhouse and the ancient Viking parliament at the continental divide, have one foot on the North-American plate and the other in Europe! After a good day of travel a local craft beer brewery for a tasting presented by the owner is on order. You can choose an upgrade and finish the day off with an authentic Icelandic gourmet dinner. In the evening you have access to an outside hot tub that’s the perfect spot for northern lights viewing. After breakfast we go on a Walking tour of the countryside. You can also choose to upgrade the Walking tour to either a Lava cave tour or an Ice Cave tour! There we will go on a 4x4 supertruck drive on a glacier and enter a massive ice tunnel that goes into the glacier. After lunch we visit the unique waterfalls: “lava falls” or “Hraunfossar” where we can see the clear glacial water spouting from under the lava layers in a spectacular display of beauty. The water is naturally filtered through porous lava rocks for years resulting in exceptionally clean and clear water that is a marvel to behold. We then continue further down the valley to the most powerful geyser in Iceland. You can choose to add the Krauma Spa and get to experience the combination of the hot geyser steam and the clear glacial water like true Vikings, but in a brand new modern-design geothermal spa that is using the lava filtrated water from the natural springs and power of the hot spring to create the perfect relaxing environment before returning back to Reykjavik in the afternoon.
